I've also been studying Drawing On The Right Side Of The Brain by Betty Edwards which, I feel, has helped tremendously in bringing me to the level of TRYING to do a portrait.

my first portrait of Michael - and unfortunately, the last.  RIP, sweetheart.

Little pink pal

For this monster, insured of using felt for the mouth, I crocheted the entire thing.

She's tiny and fits in your purse! She has a big sweet tooth, though.

Voodoo dolls

Not just for cursing people!

These prickly little guys also like long walks on the beach, watching movies and telling stories.  But watch out!  They are NOT SUITED for hugging - unless you remove the pins first! Because they are used for cursing, they also like to work in a homeless shelter to improve their karma.

Unlike the other amigurumis, they are larger in size.

Amigurumis unite!

They're cute. They're small. But the joy they bring can't be measured!

Humble bee

This bee won't sting!
